We’ve got a position available for an assistant team manager: liabilities

Purpose of position:
Assisting liabilities team manager to ensure continued improvement of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Attending to allocation of new claim
- Assisting with liability payments and authorisation thereof
- Updating daily payment stats and data
- Attend to payment escalation responses
- Assist with complaints
- Assist with escalation mails
- Ad hoc assistance with authorising and finalising claims
- Assisting team manager with team to achieve targets by working proactively with the team
- Dealing with client queries and complaints professionally and in line with company values
- Assist team manager with escalations to manage relationship with other insurers
- Providing weekly feedback to legal managers
- Assisting with Coaching and training of staff
- Handling and monitoring performance-related issues as well as disciplinary matters
Requirements:
- Matric (essential)
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in short term insurance claims or legal
- Liabilities experience
- Management experience (advantageous)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
