We’ve got a position available for a Financial Business Analyst

Purpose of position:

Serve as the liaison between Finance and IT, with responsibility for supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, driving business roadmap initiatives, and ensuring alignment of financial processes with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the business to understand and configure Microsoft Dynamics365
• Assist with project delivery
• Understand all Financial business processes
• Be the middleman between Finance and IT
• Drive the successful delivery of initiatives on the business roadmap by gathering and analyzing requirements, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring solutions meet business objectives
• Strong involvement with support processes when project goes live
• Communicate between teams about evolving requirements and planning
• Manage admin tasks such as conducting meetings, facilitating collaboration, identifying gaps / impacts to other systems/ processes/ Stakeholders, and eliminating unknowns that might affect project progress
• Defining priority, business cases together with business (Format)
• Alignment with other teams/BA’s on upcoming priorities and dependencies.

Required Skills

• Relevant Degree (BComm/BEng)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Dynamics365 experience is a must
• MS SQL
• At least 3 years Business Analysis experience
• High proficiency in technical and business writing
• Detailed and analytical
• Insurance industry or financial services (beneficial)
• Report development
